Many SOA applicants and their directors inquire about the repertoire that is chosen each year for the Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus.

Except for the performances in a cathedral or basilica, where it is only proper for a chorus to sing sacred pieces, our other concerts feature approximately 30-40 minutes of music by the choir, followed by a similar allocation of time for the band. As a finale, the band and chorus perform on stage together presenting several arrangements written for a combined ensemble. Therefore, our concerts consist of approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours of great music!

We are providing a listing of band, chorus and combined musical works that represent a virtually all of our repertoire over the past two decades. It is, however, only a partial listing to give you a better understanding of the music performed on SOA tours throughout Europe.

To hear some of our past recordings, we offer a free demo compact disc to each applicant. Selections that can be heard on our new demo band or chorus CDs are listed with an "*". Directors may inquire for their free demo CD.

Selections that can be heard on the "A Patriotic Tribute" CD are listed with an "*"
